Every new account gets 100 credits, enough for about 10 drafted proposals, with no card. Pick a plan only when you want more.

After that, every proposal has two costs: what we charge you, and what Upwork charges you in Connects. Both are shown everywhere in the product, never just one.
Annual
Save 16%3,000 credits every month, three times the monthly plan.
Billed $149.9 once a year, about 2 months free.
Start annualBoth plans include everything. The annual plan is not a higher tier — it is the same product, cheaper per month, with a larger credit allotment because you have committed for the year.
At 10 credits a draft, the monthly plan is 100 proposals a month and the annual plan is 300.
$9.99
500 credits. They never expire and they stack on top of your monthly allotment, so a busy month does not need a plan change.
Bought outright, separately from any plan. Cancelling a subscription never takes these back.
Cheaper tools usually mean an extension bidding from your logged-in tab, or an agency account submitting on your behalf. Neither is what this is.
| Tool | Entry price | Where automation runs | Submission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nibwright | $14.99/mo | Our servers, official API, read-only | You paste and press Submit on Upwork |
| Vollna | from $16/mo | Their servers + Chrome extension | Auto-bid via a Business Manager seat in your agency, from $59 / 50 proposals |
| UpHunt | from $9/mo | Managed service with chat alerts | Their agency account submits, $89/mo |
| GigRadar | from $99/mo | Their servers, agencies on Agency Plus | Their Business Manager seat submits for your agency |
| Upwex | from $9.99/mo | Chrome extension, your logged-in tab | Auto-bid ($49/mo plan) from a background tab in your account |

Entry prices are each vendor's cheapest published plan, billed annually where that is how they quote it, as checked in September 2026. Side-by-side detail: Vollna, GigRadar, Upwex.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, from the billing screen, at any time. Switching to annual bills the difference straight away and moves your renewal date; switching back takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and everything keeps running until then. After that the monthly allotment stops. Top-up credits you bought outright are yours and are never taken back.
Do unused credits roll over?
The monthly allotment resets each month rather than accumulating. Top-up packs are the opposite: they never expire and they stack on top of the allotment.
Do you have a discount code field?
Yes, on both plans and on credit packs. There is an "Add promotion code" link on the Stripe checkout page, under the order summary.
Upwork's automation policy acts on tools that scrape the feed, auto-refresh listings, or run macros and userscripts against the site. Nibwright does none of those things: it polls the official, authenticated GraphQL API on a fixed interval, using an OAuth token you granted and can revoke in one click. It never touches your password, never runs a script in your browser, and never submits anything: there is no endpoint for that. The one step Upwork keeps entirely human is the one step this product leaves entirely to you.
Starter credits included, so you can see it work before you pick a plan.
